Product Description
F-tone Networks’s OSFP 800Gbps transceiver module is designed for optical communication applications in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links up to 120km single mode fiber. This product converts 8 channels of 100Gbps (PAM4) electrical input data to single channel of 800Gbps (DP-16QAM) coherent optical signals. Reversely, on the receiver side, 800Gbps (DP-16QAM) coherent optical signals is converted to 8 channels of 100Gbps (PAM4) electrical output data. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 8x100GAUI-1, 4x200GAUI-2 and 2x400GAUI-4 interface as defined by IEEE 802.3ck, and the form factor, optical/electrical connection and digital diagnostic interface compliant with OSFP MSA.
